Life insurance
(if working)

If anything happened to you, you’d want to make sure your child was looked after, wouldn’t you? Life insurance is cheaper when you’re young. Think about it.

Child Trust Fund

You can put money into your child’s trust fund. It’s a savings account for your child that they can use when they turn 18.

No-one else can take their money out. For info look at:

You don’t! It’s better for them to learn the value of things. You can borrow DVDs from the library AND you’ll be introducing her to books and things.

Ask librarians for book ideas. Involve your child in choosing them. Borrow instead of buying so you can introduce them to a bigger range of great films.

Charity shops are great for cheap toys – if it’s only 50p who cares if they only play with it once!
