They’re worth £2.80 per week if you’re pregnant, or £2.80 for each child under four.

• You qualify for Healthy Start if you're pregnant and under 18
or
• you're pregnant or have a child under four AND:
• you or your family get Income Support, or
• you or your family get income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, or
• you or your family get Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) and your family income is less than £14,155 a year.
...you can claim free vitamins from your antenatal clinic.
...you are entitled to free prescriptions and free dental treatment whilst you're pregnant and for 12 months after the birth. If you´re not getting IS or JSA, send proof of your pregnancy to your health authority (form from GP or midwife) and they´ll send you an exemption certificate.
...if you´re in a job you should be entitled to time off for antenatal appointments. You should also get Maternity Leave (at least 26 weeks off work) and Maternity Pay.
