This is a handy way to apply for council and housing association properties.
Properties are listed on the Property Pool website and you can bid for up to 3 per week. Get on the web free in a One-Stop-Shop, at a library or a Connexions office.
To register, you'll need an application form from a One-stop Shop (0151 233 3000 to find your nearest).
For under 18s this scheme helps you live in a supported housing scheme until you are able to take on your own tenancy. Ask at Connexions.
Note: Under 18s need a guarantor to get any tenancy.
A guarantor is someone who will sign that they'll take responsibility for you looking after the property and paying regularly.
It could be a parent or an older relative, for example.
