Contact the Homeless Team. They specialise in helping people with housing problems.

They arrange an interview with you to assess your situation. They can advise on housing and your legal rights, and help you find temporary hostel accommodation if you need it. When you go, take:

  • some identification for
    everyone in your household
  • proof of pregnancy
  • proof of your income (your payment book will do)
  • if possible, proof that you’re homeless (tenancy agreement,

or a letter from your parents saying you can’t live with them)

  • pen, and paper or notebook.

Write down the name of the person you speak to, and make a note of what they tell you.

If they’re closed you can call Liverpool Direct 0151 233 3000 or ask at a police station.
