Dads-Space is a non-profit making website that provides information and advice to new or experienced fathers of all ages. It also includes an on-line helpdesk, and a forum where dads can chat socially or discuss any concerns.

From April 2009, you can claim a one-off, tax-free payment from H M Revenue & Customs if you're a mum-to-be who's at least 25 weeks pregnant. The payment is called 'Health in Pregnancy Grant' and is to help you prepare for the birth of your baby.
Your due date needs to be on or after 6 April 2009 for you to make a claim.

A campaign has been launched to raise awareness of the dangers of women smoking during pregnancy.
Supported by women's health specialist Dr Miriam Stoppard, the campaign seeks to encourage public support for pregnant women who wish to quit, and to encourage take-up of the specialist pregnancy NHS Stop Smoking Services available to help them.
The new campaign advises why smoking is harmful to pregnant women and their babies, and that stopping smoking - no matter how far along the pregnancy is - will benefit the woman and her baby immediately.
A new guide 'I'm Going to Have a Baby too!' is now available for young fathers. The guide complements the young mums' guide 'I'm going to have a baby!' providing information, advice and guidance for young dads and young dads to-be. Research has shown that mums under 20 are 6 times more likely to have a cot death than older mothers.
